Kyrie Irving carried the Nets across the finish line in that game, scoring over 20 points in the final quarter. Here, Irving and the Nets are heavy favorites against the shorthanded Lakers, but will need to be sharp to avoid an upset loss at home.
For the Nets, the improved play of Nic Claxton has been huge for them of late. Claxton has been a scorer in addition to a rim protector, making the Nets dangerous in another way offensively with Kevin Durant out. With Anthony Davis out for the Lakers, Claxton could have a huge game here.
