Denver Nuggets Betting Preview
The Denver Nuggets made the postseason last year, and won the NBA championship, putting together a thoroughly impressive season from start to finish. Now their task is to try and win the championship for a second year in a row, but that will be a challenge, as the rest of the league is trying to beat them en route to the title in the season to come. Fortunately for the Nuggets, they still have one of the best players in the world and a genuine shot to repeat.

Denver Nuggets Picks, Predictions & Betting News
Offseason Transactions
Key Additions: Jalen Pickett, Justin Holiday, Julian Strawther
Key Departures: Bruce Brown, Thomas Bryant, Jeff Green
The Denver Nuggets did not do too much in the offseason, which makes sense after a championship season. They did lose Jeff Green and Bruce Brown, who were key members of last years title-winning squad. But their acquisitions in the guard department should make up for the loss of Brown, and recently-drafted Jalen Pickett could be a useful member of this team going forward.
Positives & Negatives
Denver’s number one positive is the top-end talent that they bring to the table. Nikola Jokic, Jamal Murray, and Michael Porter Jr. make up one of the best trios in the NBA. Combine that with elite-level coaching and several productive role players, and there is a great chance of the Nuggets coming away with another championship this season.
However, the major negative for this team is the potential for injuries to Murray and Porter. Both men stayed healthy during last year’s run to the title, but that health was an exception to the rule for both players in their careers. If either of them misses significant time this season, things could get a lot tougher in the Mile High City.
2023-24 Denver Nuggets Win Total Prediction: Under 53.5 Wins
The Nuggets should be one of the last teams standing in the NBA this year. However, we like them to go under their season win total of 53.5 games. The Nuggets did not finish with that win total last season, even with a healthy core. Look for Denver to focus on keeping their nucleus healthy above stacking up regular season wins, and for them to finish with closer to 50 victories in their 2023-24 campaign.
