The Brooklyn Nets travel to face the Cleveland Cavaliers on Thursday night. Cleveland’s offensive production dwarfs that of Brooklyn, as the Cavaliers are scoring over 12 more points per night and shooting a higher percentage across the board. The rebounding edge Cleveland holds also should lead into transition opportunities and extra shot chances. Brooklyn’s assist numbers are low compared to the Cavs, indicating that their ball movement is less effective than Cleveland’s more fluid offense.
Score Projection: Brooklyn Nets 104 – Cleveland Cavaliers 123 ATS PRO
Win Probability: Brooklyn Nets 15%, Cleveland Cavaliers 85% ATS PRO
Given the statistical disparities, recent form, and betting lines, Cleveland appears strongly positioned to dominate this game on both ends of the floor. The Nets have capable scorers but lack depth and consistent defense to keep pace with the Cavaliers' scoring machine. I'm going to lay the points with the Cavs in this matchup from Rocket Arena.
