Houston’s offensive output has been strong and balanced, with both scoring inside and outside. Their defense has performed slightly better than Charlotte’s as well. Meanwhile, the Hornets shoot a high free-throw percentage and can rack up assists, the product of a collaborative offensive unit. Still, Houston’s rebounding edge could swing this game in their favor.
Score Projection: Rockets 118 – Hornets 112 ATS PRO
Win Probability: Rockets 56%, Hornets 44% ATS PRO
The Rockets should have the upper hand against the Hornets in this game despite this game being played in Charlotte. The Hornets are short-handed due to suspensions and that should prevent them from reaching their full potential here. I'll lay the points with the Rockets as a road favorite on Thursday night.
