The Toronto Blue Jays and Milwaukee Brewers will meet at American Family Field on Tuesday night in an interesting interleague matchup. Toronto has struggled out of the gate after winning the American League pennant last season, while the Brewers have had a hard time themselves during a long recent losing streak. But one team has to get the win in this contest, and I attempt to answer which team that will be as I make my Blue Jays vs Brewers prediction on the diamond.

- Milwaukee enters with five straight losses, while Toronto is still searching for consistency after a 6-9 start to the season.
- Toronto’s offense has struggled, producing just 3.8 runs per game so far. Losing Bo Bichette to the New York Mets has hurt them significantly so far as they look to adjust to the current realities of their lineup.
- Both teams feature high-strikeout pitching staffs, setting up an intriguing duel, starting with the two quality starting pitchers that are in play for this matchup.

- Kevin Gausman brings veteran stability and strong early numbers, including a 2.08 ERA so far in 2026.

- Toronto owns one of the highest team strikeout rates, which could play into Misiorowski’s strengths.
- Milwaukee’s pitching staff holds a clear edge in overall ERA and run prevention.

- George Springer remains a key contributor at the top of the lineup. He has two home runs and six RBI to begin the year.

Betting Trends & H2H
- This is the first matchup of the season between the Jays and Brewers.
- The over is 9-6 in Brewers games so far this season.
- Toronto is 8-7 to the over heading into this series opener from Milwaukee.
Blue Jays vs Brewers Model Projection
- Score Projection: Toronto Blue Jays 3 - Milwaukee Brewers 6
- Win Probability: Toronto Blue Jays 38%, Milwaukee Brewers 62%
Milwaukee holds clear advantages across multiple areas entering this game. Their offense has been far more productive. The Brewers also bring speed on the bases, which adds another layer of pressure against a Toronto pitching staff that has allowed consistent traffic.
While Gausman gives the Blue Jays a chance to compete, the overall depth of Milwaukee’s lineup and bullpen matchup should go the way of the Brewers. Misiorowski’s strikeout ability lines up well against a Toronto offense that has struggled to make consistent contact. If he can limit walks, the Brewers should control the game and get back into the win column at home.
