The Texas Rangers will face the Los Angeles Dodgers on Saturday night in what has already turned into an entertaining interleague series. Los Angeles took the opener in dramatic fashion, walking off with an 8-7 win after a three-home run performance from Max Muncy. That result continued a strong early-season run for the Dodgers, who entered the weekend with the best record in baseball and one of the most productive lineups in the league. They will try to keep things rolling, while Texas tries to even things up in this Rangers vs Dodgers matchup.

Rangers vs Dodgers Model Projection
- Score Projection: Texas Rangers 4 - Los Angeles Dodgers 6
- Win Probability: Texas Rangers 40%, Los Angeles Dodgers 60%
My best bet for this contest is for the game to go over 8.5 runs in Los Angeles on Saturday night. Jack Leiter is off to a nice start on the mound for Texas, but he may still struggle against one of the most potent offenses in baseball. And with Sheehan struggling early in the year for LA, we could see plenty of scoring on both sides of this matchup. I project around 10 total runs scored, so the over is what makes the most sense to me in the betting markets here.
