Rangers vs Angels Model Projection
- Score Projection: Angels 5 - Rangers 4
- Win Probability: Angels 53%, Rangers 47%
Texas still has the stronger overall roster on paper, but this series has highlighted the inconsistency that has followed the Rangers through the opening 2 months of the season. The lineup continues to leave runners on base, and that could really hurt them against an Angels lineup that has finally started producing. Trout and Neto are swinging the bat with confidence, while Schanuel and Peraza have added timely hits throughout the weekend. I'll take the Angels to continue swinging hot bats and to complete a sweep at home on Sunday night.
