- The Liberty lead the WNBA in scoring at 94 points per game despite recent turnover issues.

Key Players
New York Liberty
- Breanna Stewart remains the centerpiece of the Liberty offense and defense. She scored 18 points with 9 rebounds in the recent loss to Golden State and continues to impact every area of the floor with her scoring efficiency and rim protection.
- Jonquel Jones gives New York a major edge inside. She posted 16 points and 8 rebounds against Golden State and creates matchup problems with her size and ability to stretch the floor.
- Sabrina Ionescu is expected to make her season debut Sunday. Last season she averaged 18.2 points, 5.7 assists, and 4.9 rebounds. Her return immediately improves New York’s perimeter shooting and ball movement.
Dallas Wings
- Paige Bueckers continues to show why she was selected first overall prior to last season. She is projected for another strong scoring performance Sunday after averaging 18.5 points per game early in the season. Dallas depends heavily on her shot creation and decision-making.
- Arike Ogunbowale remains one of the league’s most dangerous volume scorers. She struggled Friday against Atlanta, but when she gets hot from deep, Dallas can score with anyone.
- Jessica Shepard has quietly become one of the most important players on the roster. She recorded the WNBA’s first triple-double of the season against Chicago and gives Dallas much-needed rebounding and passing from the frontcourt.
Head-to-Head & Betting Trends
- New York has won 8 of the last 10 meetings against Dallas.
- The Liberty won both meetings at Barclays Center last season.
- Dallas is 3-3 against the spread this season.
- New York is 2-3 against the spread this season.
Wings vs Liberty Model Projection
- Score Projection: Dallas Wings 82 - New York Liberty 91
- Win Probability: Dallas Wings 28%, New York Liberty 72%
Dallas has enough offensive talent to stay competitive for stretches, but this is a difficult scheduling spot against one of the WNBA’s deepest teams. The Wings are still searching for consistency defensively, and facing a Liberty roster getting healthier is a difficult assignment. New York should benefit from the return of Ionescu, especially against a Dallas defense that has struggled against elite perimeter playmakers. Expect Dallas to compete early before New York gradually pulls away in the second half. The Liberty are the stronger side entering Sunday and should cover the number at home.
