Dodgers vs Braves Game 4 Full Game Pricing

Updated October 7, 2026

Los Angeles takes a 2-1 NLDS lead into Wednesday’s Game 4 at Truist Park after a 3-1 win Tuesday night. Yoshinobu Yamamoto gave the Dodgers 7 innings and 10 strikeouts in Game 3, while Atlanta finished with 5 hits, 2 walks, 12 strikeouts, and an 0-for-6 mark with runners in scoring position. That puts the Braves one loss from elimination and gives the Dodgers a chance to close the series behind Tyler Glasnow, with Tyler Mahle starting for Atlanta.
Value On Glasnow's K Over
Polymarket lists a Game 4 Glasnow strikeout contract at 6.5, with the Over settling as a winner if he finishes with at least 7 strikeouts. At 49¢, the market-implied probability is 49%, compared with my 52% projection, creating a 3% edge. That makes pricing important, as chasing a higher price in this market may not be wise, as the value diminishes at 51% or higher.
Workload Expectations Important
Glasnow made just 13 regular-season starts because of a back injury, and Los Angeles has a rested bullpen after Yamamoto worked 7 innings Tuesday. Those factors deserve a discount. The case for the Over is made mostly by the expectation that Glasnow will work in a more traditional starting role this postseason, and his recent strikeout production has been strong enough to clear 6.5 without requiring an unusually long outing.

Why Our Model Sees Value:

“Glasnow’s limited 2026 workload and Atlanta’s generally contact-oriented lineup can suppress the price, but his strikeout rate, recent form, and previous 2026 outing at Truist Park point to a better chance of 7 or more strikeouts than a 49% price implies.”
Glasnow finished the regular season with an 11.92 K/9 rate, fourth among MLB starters with at least 70 innings. He recorded 98 strikeouts in 74 innings and closed the regular season with double-digit strikeouts in consecutive starts. That gives him a ceiling few starters in this postseason field can offer.
The recent game log is even more useful for this prop heading into Dodgers vs Braves Game 4. Glasnow averaged 8.40 strikeouts across his final 5 starts and cleared 6.5 in 4 of those 5. Across his last 10 starts, he averaged 7.60 strikeouts and reached at least 7 in 8 of 10.
Atlanta is not an ideal strikeout opponent over a full-season sample. Its projected lineup ranks 24th among 30 clubs in strikeouts per game, at 8.0, which is one reason not to price this prop as if Glasnow were facing a high-strikeout offense.
The current postseason picture is less comfortable for the Braves. They struck out 12 times in Game 3, including 10 against Yamamoto, while producing only 5 hits. Several important bats also enter Game 4 without much production: Drake Baldwin is hitting .130 this postseason, Ronald Acuña Jr. .143, and Matt Olson is hitting .174. Michael Harris II has been the exception at .375. Acuña’s right knee has also bothered him enough that Atlanta may use him at designated hitter again, while Ha-Seong Kim is 1-for-30 since September 12.
Glasnow returned from the injured list and struck out 7 Braves hitters in 5 innings in Atlanta in August. He did it despite allowing 3 runs in a difficult opening inning, then retired 14 of the final 16 hitters he faced. The start required 89 pitches, so it was not a case of unusually efficient workload creating the strikeout total. He simply generated enough misses to get to 7 before completing the sixth.
The Over does not require Glasnow to work deep into the game. If he is around his season strikeout rate, 18 outs are enough to put 7 strikeouts well within reach. Even 5 strong innings can get there, as the August visit to Atlanta demonstrated.
Los Angeles has every reason to be aggressive with its pitching staff. Tanner Scott and Edwin Díaz handled the final 2 innings Tuesday, and MLB reported that the rest of the Dodgers’ bullpen should also be available for Game 4. If Glasnow reaches a high pitch count in the fourth or fifth inning, Dave Roberts does not need to extend him simply to preserve the bullpen.
That is the clearest path to an Under. Glasnow can miss bats and still finish with 5 or 6 strikeouts if Atlanta forces long counts, puts early pitches in play, or creates enough base runners to push him near 90 pitches before the sixth inning. His back-related absence earlier this season adds another reason for Los Angeles to avoid unnecessary workload.
Still, Glasnow is expected to be used as a conventional starter this postseason, which reduces concern that he is entering Game 4 with a preset short outing. His final 2 regular-season starts both included double-digit strikeouts, and the Braves have already shown this week that their current lineup can be beaten with high-end swing-and-miss stuff.
