Cubs vs Cardinals Model Projection
- Score Projection: Chicago Cubs 5 - St. Louis Cardinals 3
- Win Probability: Chicago Cubs 59%, St. Louis Cardinals 41%
The betting market favors Chicago for good reason. Brown has been one of the most effective starters in the league when healthy, posting a 2.01 ERA with excellent command and swing-and-miss ability. His 0.99 WHIP stands out against a Cardinals lineup that has been inconsistent for much of the season. While St. Louis showed power in Friday's victory, repeating that performance against Brown will be much more difficult. Despite the Cubs' recent struggles, they should win this contest in St. Louis on Saturday night.
