Chicago Cubs vs Milwaukee Brewers Prediction, Preview & Same Game Parlay - 6/26/2026

The Chicago Cubs roll into American Family Field on Friday night carrying a four-game win streak, but they walk into a buzzsaw named Jacob Misiorowski and a Brewers club that has separated itself as the best team in the National League Central. Milwaukee enters at 49-29 and has not lost a single game to Chicago this season, sweeping the first three meetings of the year-long rivalry. With the Cubs' rotation gutted by injuries and Colin Rea drawing the start against one of the most electric arms in baseball, oddsmakers see this as a lopsided affair, and the numbers back that up.
This is a game where the pitching gap is simply too wide to ignore. Misiorowski has been one of the most dominant starters in baseball this season at 8-3 with a 1.45 ERA, a 0.75 WHIP, and 138 strikeouts, and he gets to work at home against a Cubs lineup that ranks 10th in the National League in batting average at .243. Rea, by contrast, carries a 4.99 ERA and a 1.40 WHIP into a ballpark where Milwaukee has gone 25-15 this season.
Chicago's win streak is impressive, but it has come without facing a pitcher of Misiorowski's caliber, and the Brewers have outscored the Cubs by a wide margin across their three previous meetings in 2026, including a 9-3 rout. Expect Milwaukee's deep, opportunistic lineup to push this one out of reach by the middle innings, with the Cubs scratching across a few runs late against the bullpen rather than building any real pressure on Misiorowski himself.
This three-leg parlay leans into Milwaukee's clear advantages on the mound and in the box score while adding a strikeout prop tied to one of the hottest arms in the sport.
Total parlay odds: +435
The justification here is straightforward. Misiorowski has racked up 138 strikeouts already this season and faces a Cubs lineup that has struggled to make consistent contact, making the strikeout prop a clean fit. Contreras has been red-hot, going 13 for 34 with a double and two home runs over his last 10 games, giving him a real path to multiple total bases even in a lower-scoring outing for Milwaukee. And the run line simply reflects the gap between these two rotations on this particular night.
Pick: William Contreras to hit a home run, +545 on DraftKings Sportsbook
Contreras has been the engine of Milwaukee's offense for the past two weeks, and his recent power surge, two home runs in his last 10 games on top of a .382 average over that stretch, lines up well against a Cubs starter in Rea who has been prone to the long ball this season given his 4.99 ERA. At plus money, this prop offers solid value for a hitter trending in the right direction at home.
