The Warhawks won that game despite throwing the ball just 15 times total, a number that will likely increase this week if the Warhawks want to keep up with the potent offense of the UAB Blazers.
UL Monroe has not beaten an FBS opponent since their season opener in the 2023 season, when they beat the Army Black Knights in a 17-13 defensive struggle. Since then, all UL Monroe's defense has done is struggle against FBS opponents, a trend they will look to reverse at home in a chance for their program to earn a second straight 2-0 start to a season.
UAB vs UL Monroe Best Bet
While UAB's defense is a huge question mark going into this game, we will still take them to win and cover the spread as nearly a two-touchdown road favorite. UL Monroe has been a disaster against FBS competition over the last year, losing by double-digits to eight of their last 10 FBS opponents.
