This week, the Bulldogs return home where they are heavy favorites to defeat Toledo and get back above the .500 mark for the season. To do that, the passing game of Mississippi State will need to be sharp, including the connection between Blake Shapen and Kevin Coleman Jr.

Coleman has been very dangerous early in the season for Mississippi State, reeling in nine balls for 191 yards and two touchdowns. He is averaging 21.2 yards per catch for the season and broke 100 yards in a game for the first time this season last week against Arizona State. If Coleman can continue making explosive plays from the wide receiver position in this Toledo vs Mississippi State matchup, the Rockets may not be able to keep up with the hosts in Starkville.
