Colorado Hopes to Build On Miracle Comeback
The Colorado Buffaloes are 3-1 heading into Saturday's Colorado vs UCF matchup. The Buffaloes have won two straight games, blowing out rival Colorado State before winning in a miraculous comeback fashion over Baylor in their Big 12 opener last week. This week, Colorado's defense will need to be better for the first three quarters of play so as not to make things so suspenseful. But the offense of the Buffaloes will be expected to be a threat to the UCF defense once again, as quarterback Shedeur Sanders has thrown for 300+ yards in three of his first four games this season for Deion Sanders' group.
UCF Looks to Remain Undefeated
UCF is off to a 3-0 start in the 2024 college football season, including a 1-0 start after their win over TCU two weeks ago. While most of the hype surrounding UCF going into this season focused on Arkansas transfer quarterback KJ Jefferson, it has been the play of running back RJ Harvey that has been grabbing the attention as the season has gone on. Harvey has rushed for eight touchdowns in three games for the Knights so far this year, rushing for two or more touchdowns in each game early in the season. If he can find running lanes against a Colorado defense that is soft in the trenches, Harvey could have another huge day for his team.
Colorado vs UCF Best Bet
We expect a lot of scoring to be done in Saturday's Colorado vs UCF contest. We will take the over as our best bet for this game, as UCF should be able to use its rushing attack to carve up a soft Colorado defense. Meanwhile, Shedeur Sanders should continue to air it out successfully in a game where both sides should be able to do plenty of scoring regardless of who comes out on top.
