Marshall is 2-0 at home so far this season and they hope that they can get another home win here to start their Sun Belt Conference season with a win. If that is going to happen, the Thundering Herd will need to continue to avoid turning the ball over after quarterback Stone Earle threw three touchdowns without an interception in a win over Western Michigan last week.
App State vs Marshall Prediction
It is hard to gauge where App State is going into this Appalachian State vs Marshall matchup in the Sun Belt. Their program and their region has gone through so much with the storms that ravaged that part of the country recently. But we will take App State to rise above all of that and to cover the spread as a slight underdog here, as they should make their area proud by showing a ton of heart by taking the field on Saturday afternoon.
