Why Bet on Northern Kentucky:
✅ Northern Kentucky has been exceptional during the Horizon League Tournament. They have averaged 78 points per game and took down number one seed Youngstown State in the semifinal round. They will continue to play at an elite level to get back to the NCAA Tournament here.
✅ This should be another low-scoring game, which will benefit the Norse. These teams played twice this season, with neither team hitting the 65-point mark in either game. Northern Kentucky has the superior defense, which will go a long way in this conference final.
✅ Northern Kentucky has covered the spread in both of their conference tournament games in the Horizon League tourney. Cleveland State is 1-1 against the spread in their two tournament contests.

Head to Head
Teams Last 10
Northern Kentucky Norse
The Northern Kentucky Norse finished fourth in the Horizon League in the regular season, but have played like champions so far in the conference tournament. They crushed the Youngstown State Penguins in the semifinal round on Monday, holding off a late comeback attempt for the top-seeded Penguins in Indianapolis. On Tuesday night, the Norse will look for a second win in as many nights to secure a berth in the NCAA Tournament.
Defense is the calling card of Northern Kentucky, which will come in handy again against Cleveland State. Specifically, defending Tristan Enaruna will be key to the success of the Norse. Northern Kentucky has held Enaruna to 14.5 points per game in their two meetings this season, a little over a point below his season average. They will need to keep him in check again to win here.
Cleveland State Vikings
Cleveland State defeated the second seed in the Horizon League tournament in Monday night’s semifinals, putting up 93 points in a win over the Milwaukee Panthers. The Vikings come into this game at 21-12, the same overall record as Northern Kentucky, and will look for a 22nd win to get into the Big Dance on Tuesday night.
For the Vikings, winning the rebounding battle will be incredibly important in this matchup. They average more rebounds per game than the Norse, but outrebounding Northern Kentucky by 11 rebounds in each of their regular season meetings has not been enough to create any meaningful separation for Cleveland State. Both regular season meetings between these teams were decided by a point, with each team winning at home, and a huge rebounding margin will be necessary for the Vikings to compete again here.
