Davidson has a slight edge in efficiency from the field and on the boards, while Dayton scores slightly more points per game overall. Both teams have similar assist numbers, indicating ball movement-oriented offenses rather than relying on one superstar. Davidson’s defense has held opponents to fewer points, but Dayton’s ability to score at home and perform in clutch situations might give them an edge in a tight contest.
Score Projection: Davidson 74 – Dayton 80 ATS PRO
Win Probability: Davidson 42%, Dayton 58% ATS PRO
This Atlantic 10 clash figures to be competitive, with both clubs fighting for seeding and momentum late in the regular season. Dayton’s home success, coupled with its scoring balance and past results against Davidson, make them a credible pick to cover the spread here. Davidson’s efficient offense and stout defense will keep them in the hunt, but Dayton’s ability to deliver at home, where they are 11-2, should see them through. I'll lay the points with Dayton with confidence.
