Why Bet on UConn:
✅ UConn looked dominant in the quarterfinal round of this tournament, crushing Providence in a game that was much more evenly matched than the game Marquette struggled in against St. John’s.
✅ Marquette comes into this game having played two straight close games against St. John’s, which is not a particularly good sign as they get set for a much tougher opponent here.
✅ Marquette struggled to contain Joel Soriano on the glass for St. John’s, and they will have a tough time dealing with Adama Sanogo as well.

Creighton Bluejays: Favored to Win Rubber Match With Musketeers
The Creighton Bluejays have made it to each of the last two Big East Tournament championship games. They are now one win away from getting to a third conference title game in as many years, after beating Villanova in the Big East quarterfinals on Thursday. Now, they take on a Xavier team that they went 1-1 against during the regular season for the right to play in that championship game.
Creighton’s defense will decide the outcome of this game, as they struggled to contain the Musketeers once and shut them down once in the regular season. Xavier is by far the more explosive offensive team going into this contest. If Creighton gives up somewhere close to the 90 points they allowed in their loss to Xavier this season, the Bluejays will be eliminated one step shy of where they reached in the last two Big East tournaments.
Xavier Musketeers: Aiming For Second Big East Championship Appearance
Going into this Creighton vs Xavier game, the Xavier Musketeers are well within the NCAA Tournament field, as they are ranked 15th in the country. But this game could have a huge impact on their seeding, as Xavier looks to get back to the Big East championship game for the first time since 2015.
For Xavier, Souley Boum will be the key to whether or not the Musketeers are able to advance to play the winner of UConn vs Marquette. Boum scored 26 points in Xavier’s win over Creighton at home this season, but was held to just two points in the Musketeers’ loss in Omaha. Which end of that spectrum he ends up closest to in this game will be a strong indicator of who is going to win.
