Key Storylines
- St. John's has been one of the best teams in the Big East this season and holds a commanding 14-1 league record entering this game.
- Creighton’s inconsistent campaign has seen them hover around .500 in conference play while alternating wins and losses. But they did beat UConn last time out and will try to pass a second straight huge road test with a win in this game.
- This game is huge for Big East Tournament seeding purposes. The Red Storm are trying to finish first in the Big East heading into the conference tournament, while Creighton could still finish in the top four. Wins in games like this one would move either team much closer to achieving those goals.
