Key Storylines
- Florida has established itself as one of the top teams in the SEC with a 20-6 record and a strong road performance against ranked competition. The Gators have won six straight games going into this matchup.
- Ole Miss enters this contest struggling to generate consistent offense and defense, sitting well below .500 overall and in SEC play. The Rebels aren't going to see NCAA Tournament basketball this season, but could halt the momentum of the rival gators.
Key Players
Florida Gators
- Thomas Haugh: The Gators’ leading scorer around 17.2 points per game and over 6 rebounds. Those numbers place him among the most versatile players on the roster, driving much of Florida’s offensive efficiency.
- Alex Condon: Contributes strong all-around numbers with scoring, rebounding, and assists, anchoring Florida’s frontcourt and helping facilitate their offensive execution.
- Xaivian Lee: A guard capable of playmaking, shown by his assist totals and ability to distribute while keeping the offense flowing.
Ole Miss Rebels
- A.J. Storr: The top scoring option for Ole Miss, averaging 14.8 points per game, including a 21-point performance in the last contest, making him the primary threat for the Rebels.
- Travis Perry: Provides perimeter shooting and floor spacing, though his lower scoring output is a sign that he is a bit inconsistent.
- Ilias Kamardine: Contributes with points, rebounds, and assists, but needs support from teammates to help the Rebels stay competitive.

Final Thoughts
Florida enters this game with the tools necessary to control this game, exploiting its size to help them cover the sizable spread on the road. I'm going to lay the points with the Gators, as they should be able to prevent second-chance points against a Rebels team that is overmatched on the interior.
