Why Bet on Colorado:
✅ Washington beat Colorado twice this season, once at home and once on the road. The fact that the Buffaloes are favored in spite of that says a lot about these two teams.
✅ According to Kenpom, Colorado is a vastly superior team on both ends of the floor. They are ranked nearly 50 spots higher, and Colorado’s defense is ranked in the top-20 in the country there.
✅ The Huskies ended their regular season with two straight losses to mediocre opponents, including a bad loss to Stanford right before the start of this tournament.

Head to Head
Teams Last 10
Colorado Buffaloes
The Colorado Buffaloes come into the Pac-12 Tournament at 16-15 overall and 8-12 in conference play. In Wednesday’s first round action, they will take on a team with the same overall and conference records in the Washington Huskies. While Colorado lost to Washington twice this season, they have a genuine chance to turn the tables in this game to advance to the next round in the Pac-12.
For Colorado, defense is going to be the key to this game. They allow 66.3 points per game on the season, and they are considered one of the better defensive teams in the country. If they want any shot of advancing past Washington, that defense is going to need to be at its best in Las Vegas.
Washington Huskies
The Washington Huskies have the same record as Colorado, but they come into this tournament on a two-game losing streak. The Huskies have struggled mightily on defense this season, ranking next to last in the Pac-12 in points allowed. But they have a chance to turn that around against a Colorado team that they are 2-0 against on the season already.
While Washington has one of the worst scoring defenses in the Pac-12, they are surprisingly good at defending the three-point line. They rank first in the conference in opponent three-point shooting percentage at just under 30%. Against a Colorado team that already struggles to hit the three, ranking ninth in the Pac-12 in three-point efficiency, Washington could find a better than average defensive performance to sweep Colorado and advance.
