Why Bet Ball State:
✅ The Golden Flashes have not been winning with margin at home, at least for the most part. During MAC play, they were in a tight game with Toledo until free throws pushed them out to a double-digit win. They also won by just eight points against a dreadful Western Michigan team. Ball State will keep this close.

Ball State Cardinals
The Ball State Cardinals enter Friday night’s MACtion on a two-game win streak. They have wins over Miami (OH) and Western Michigan in their last two outings. They will look for a third straight here against Kent State, though they will have to penetrate one of the best defenses in all of college basketball in order to accomplish that.
Ball State is 1-1 on the road in conference play so far, but their one road win in the MAC was an impressive one. They beat Toledo on the road, scoring 90 points in a win as a sizable underdog. Another upset would put the Cardinals at the top of the MAC standings this weekend.
Kent State Golden Flashes
Kent State has won nine straight games coming into this contest. They are the only unbeaten team left in the MAC, and are coming off of a 14-point victory over lowly Eastern Michigan. Here, they will face a tougher test from a Ball State team that has exceeded expectations so far this year.
For Kent State, the question here is whether the Golden Flashes can generate enough offense to win this game. They are allowing just 62.2 points per game on defense. But their offense will need to take some of the pressure off of the defense if they want to win here.
