Looking for the best Arizona online casinos? Then, you've come to the right place. The Grand Canyon State hasn’t legalized real-money online casinos just yet, but you can still get in on the fun (and potentially win big) with social and sweepstakes casinos.
When evaluating AZ sweepstakes casinos, we focus on three basics: game variety, prize-redemption mechanics, and eligibility for Arizona players.
The good news? I’ve found a dozen or so options that check all three of these boxes. Below, you’ll find all the top social casinos and sweepstakes casinos for Arizona players right now:
Affiliate Disclosure: ATS.io uses affiliate links. If you sign up through a link on this page, we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. Rankings are based on hands-on testing and published criteria, and affiliate relationships do not determine placement.
How we rank Arizona sweepstakes casinos: We compare sweepstakes casinos using published bonus terms, game catalogs, redemption minimums, responsible gaming tools, and customer support options. We also review operator disclosures and in-app/on-site information where available. Because these platforms change frequently, features and processing times may vary by player, device, and verification status.
One new Arizona online casino that’s been getting some attention? Mega Frenzy.
The site has 300+ games (slots, blackjack, roulette, keno, arcade games, you name it). The signup flow is designed to be straightforward, though verification steps can vary by player and may change over time.
New players get a 100% match on their first Gold Coin purchase (20K GC for $9.99 + 20 FREE SC). Mega Frenzy advertises prize redemptions through its sweepstakes process; processing times can vary based on verification status and redemption method.
For more details, see our Mega Frenzy review, which summarizes available games, bonus terms, and redemption policies based on operator disclosures and account access as of 2026.
Did you know there are more than 100 sweepstakes online casinos in Arizona? It's true. This gives you plenty of options to choose from but can also make it harder to decide where to play.
Some have bigger sign-up bonuses. Others focus on letting you make faster withdrawals, providing better customer service, or offering more casino games than their competitors.
The table below lists five of the best online casinos I've come across in Arizona. I’ll also give you a short summary of each so you can see what it offers and what makes it stand out.
🎰 Best AZ Online Casinos | 🎉 No Deposit Bonus | 🏦 First Purchase Bonus | 🎮 Number of Casino Games | 💸 Min. Redemption |
|---|---|---|---|---|
1. Spree | 1 Million GC + 2.50 SC | 30K GC for $9.99 + 30 SC FREE | 2,500+ | 10 SC |
2. WOW Vegas | 250,000 WC + 5.00 SC | 1.5 Million WC for $9.99 + 30 FREE SC | 2,000+ | 25 SC |
3. Stake.us | 250,000 GC + 25 SC | N/A | 1,900+ | ~50 SC (Depends on Price of Crypto) |
4. Sidepot | 10K GC & 1.00 SC | 80K GC for $19.99 + 40 SC FREE | 1,300+ | 100 SC |
5. Jackpota | 7,500 GC + 2.50 SC | 80K GC for $19.99 + 40 FREE SC | 700+ | 10 SC |
First up, there’s Spree. And it’s one of the top online casinos in Arizona when it comes to game selection.
You’ll find more than 2,000 slots from major software developers like Pragmatic Play, Relax Gaming, and Evoplay. There are also live dealer options for the most popular table games like baccarat and roulette.
Everything runs in your browser without the need for an app or download. On top of that, Spree offers daily login rewards, weekly slot tournaments, and referral bonuses for bringing in friends.
Interested? Read our honest Spree Casino review to learn more about the site.
WOW Vegas is another popular option among Arizona sweepstakes casino players, particularly for live-dealer style content.
The slot library covers Megaways, Hold & Win, progressive jackpots, and classic three-reel titles from providers like Pragmatic Play, Hacksaw Gaming, and 3 Oaks.
But the live casino section is where WOW Vegas really shines. You can play Dragon Tiger, Royal Roulette, Crash Live, and more (each streamed from a professional studio and run by real dealers).
For a closer look at everything it offers, check out our full WOW Vegas review.
Third on our list of the top Arizona online casinos? It’s Stake.us.
This one offers a little bit of everything: slots, blackjack, video poker, live dealer tables, and even unique “Stake Originals” like Plinko, Crash, and Dice. You can play on desktop or mobile, and the site runs smoothly either way.
Stake.us is known for offering crypto-based redemptions, which may be faster than some alternatives depending on verification status and network conditions.

Sidepot may be one of the newest options on this list, but I already consider it to be one of the best online casinos in the Grand Canyon State. It offers around 1,000 slots; we're talking Megaways, Hold & Win, and Buy Feature games.
Sidepot offers a set of ‘originals’ that are positioned as fast-play, arcade-style games.
It’s also backed by the same team that created Fliff Social Sportsbook. So it comes with some credibility and experience in the social gaming industry.
Want more details and honest analysis? Read our full Sidepot.us Casino review.
Last but not least, there’s Jackpota. The library is smaller than some (only about 700 virtual slot machines offered). But it's arguably the best Arizona online casino when it comes to progressive jackpots.
Most slot games at Jackpota Casino come with four different jackpots that grow until someone wins, adding extra excitement to every spin.
Jackpota also updates its lineup regularly, so there’s usually something new to check out. You’ll find a few live dealer casino games and some instant-win titles as well for when you want to switch things up.

No. Real-money online casinos aren’t legal in Arizona. You can’t play slots, blackjack, roulette, poker, or any other casino game for cash online, and no operator can legally offer them in the state.
Arizona law is pretty straightforward here. Under A.R.S. § 13-3301, gambling basically means putting something of value on the line for the chance to win a prize, with luck deciding the outcome.
A.R.S. § 13-3302 then spells out the few forms that aren’t considered illegal... things like amusement gambling, social gambling, regulated gambling (which includes sports betting, legalized in 2021), and certain raffles.
Since online casino gambling isn't one of those exceptions, it's off-limits in Arizona.
Meanwhile, sweepstakes casino sites (often called “social casinos”) are allowed in Arizona.
They don’t take real-money bets. Instead, you use virtual currencies to play: Gold Coins for fun only, and Sweeps Coins, which can be redeemed for cash prizes through sweepstakes-style promotions.
That said, the Grand Canyon State has recently started to push back against some operators using this model (according to KVOA).
The Arizona Department of Gaming has issued cease-and-desist letters, with ADG Director Jackie Johnson stating, “Illegal gambling, regardless of the platform or format, has no place in Arizona.”
For now, sweepstakes casinos remain open to Arizona players. But the landscape could shift, and we’ll update this guide if it does.
In Arizona, you’ve got to be 21 if you want to place sports bets, play daily fantasy sports, bet on horse racing, hit the slot machines at a tribal casino, or even buy a lottery ticket. That’s the rule across the board for most forms of legal gambling in the state.
Sweeps casinos are a bit different, though. Many will let you play at 18, though not every site does. It depends on their own rules. So it’s always worth taking a minute to check the “Terms & Conditions” before you sign up.
Right now, you can’t legally play at real-money online casinos in Arizona. If the law changes, odds are the Arizona Department of Gaming will be the one keeping an eye on things.
They already handle all the other legal online gambling activities in the state. For online casinos, their job would be pretty similar: make sure the games are fair, the rules are followed, and players have tools to keep things safe and responsible.
In its second crackdown in under three months, the Arizona Department of Gaming sends cease-and-desist letters to Stake.us, High 5 Casino, and others. Regulators say these sites are offering gambling products and services not allowed under state law.
The Arizona Department of Gaming issues a public warning to players about online sweepstakes casinos. The PSA warns that most of these sites “are not legal or regulated,” putting users at risk of fraud, identity theft, and other serious problems.
The Tohono O’odham Nation opens Desert Diamond Casino White Tanks in Waddell, its newest property in the Phoenix area, according to AZ Family News Phoenix.
Bovada lands in Arizona’s crosshairs. The state’s gaming regulator sends a cease-and-desist letter to its parent company, Harp Media B.V., according to KTAR News.
Lotto.com launches in Arizona; this gives residents a new way to buy lottery tickets online without having to visit a retailer.
Gila River’s Wild Horse Pass Resort and Casino completes a $180 million expansion, unveiling a new hotel tower with 205 rooms, a rooftop restaurant called 11ven at Prime, and two additional pools.
At ATS.io, we don’t just list every Arizona online casino we come across. We try them out a little bit. We play the games, test the features, and dig through the fine print so we can be sure each one is:
Here’s what we always look at before giving any site our stamp of approval:
🎰 Game Selection – Variety matters. Seriously! A good Arizona online casino should have enough choices that you’re not forced to play the same thing over and over.
🎁 Bonuses & Promotions – Big welcome bonuses are nice, but only if the terms are fair. We check the wagering requirements and other conditions to make sure they’re reasonable and player-friendly.
📱 Mobile Experience – App or no app, the best Arizona online casinos should work great on any mobile device. You shouldn’t have to pinch, zoom, or fight with the layout just to open up a game.
💳 Banking Options – The more safe, convenient payment methods, the better. We like to see credit cards, debit cards, e-wallets, and bank transfer options accepted for deposits and withdrawals.
📞 Customer Support – If something goes wrong, you need help fast. Email, phone, live chat, even social media. Good AZ online casinos give you multiple ways to reach them, and they have someone on the other end who actually cares.
🔐 Security & Fairness – We look for clear privacy/security policies, transparent sweepstakes rules, and responsible gaming tools. Where operators reference third-party testing or certifications, we note those disclosures.
🏆 Reputation & Reviews – We read what other players are saying about different online casinos in Arizona... and watch for red flags. If we see repeated complaints about slow payouts, rude support, or rigged games, that site won’t make our list.
Sweepstakes casinos in Arizona don’t offer real-money betting, but you might be surprised at the game variety. In many cases, the lineups look just like what you’d see at a traditional online casino, and sometimes there’s even more to choose from.
Here’s a quick look at what to expect:
You’ll see everything from classic three-reel setups to flashy video slots packed with features. Many Arizona online casinos also have progressive jackpot games where the prize keeps growing until someone finally hits it.
At Arizona casino sites, you’ll usually find single-deck and multi-hand versions, plus the occasional themed table. The rules for blackjack are pretty simple and probably familiar, too. So it’s easy to start playing right away.
American roulette, European roulette, and sometimes more creative spins on the game show up often. The format doesn’t change much; you’re still picking numbers, colors, or sections and watching the wheel go.
Jacks or Better. Deuces Wild. Bonus Poker. It’s all here. You can play at your own speed, which makes it easy to focus on which cards to hold and which to toss.
Some Arizona casino sites stream real dealers hosting blackjack, roulette, baccarat, and other classic games. It feels a lot like you're sitting at an actual table on the casino floor.
These are great for mixing things up: scratch cards, keno, bingo, and even crash games like Space XY and Aviator are pretty common. They’re quick, easy to try, and a nice break from the main games.
Online sports betting is legal in Arizona, no question about it. Want to bet on the Cardinals, Suns, or Diamondbacks? Licensed sportsbooks (like DraftKings and FanDuel) have you covered.
A few social casinos (Legendz and Sportzino, for example) also have sports betting. You’ll use GC for fun or SC for a shot at redeeming real cash prizes.
Arizona’s legal online casinos all have one thing in common: they give new players a free sign-up bonus.
In fact, to make things easier for you, I've listed out 10 of the best no-deposit offers available right now. Just choose an AZ casino site from the table below, click the link to register, and the bonus will be added to your account right away:

Some U.S. states make an exception for online poker. Since you’re playing against other people instead of the house, the rules can be a bit different.
Nevada is a great example. Real-money online casinos are banned there, but online poker sites like WSOP.com are allowed.
Unfortunately, Arizona doesn’t have that exception. In the Grand Canyon State, online poker is treated the same as online slots, blackjack, or roulette. So, real-money poker sites aren’t legal here.
Your only legal options are live poker rooms at tribal casinos or sweepstakes-based poker sites like Clubs Poker, Global Poker, and ClubGG Poker. These use virtual currency and a sweepstakes format that still gives you a chance to win cash prizes.
Do you live in Arizona and enjoy playing online casino games? Chances are you’ve come across sites like Bovada, BetOnline, BetUS, Ignition Casino, Wild Casino, Café Casino, or El Royale Casino.
These are what’s known as "offshore casinos." They’re run outside the U.S. and follow a completely different set of rules.
They’ll happily accept Arizona gamblers, offer thousands of games, and tempt you with some pretty big bonuses. But the moment you sign up, you give up the protections that come with licensed, state-regulated sites here in the U.S.
And that’s where the risks pile up with offshore gambling sites:
Some offshore casinos are better than others, but the risk is always on you.
As a result, in Arizona, your safest bet is to stick with legal sweepstakes casinos… or just wait until real-money online options eventually get the green light.
Most sweepstakes casinos follow a similar signup process, but steps can vary by operator and may change over time.
Remember, online casino gambling sites are illegal in Arizona (for now). So, you'll need to pick a legal social casino or sweepstakes casino. Some good options include Spree, WOW Vegas, Stake.us, Sidepot, and Jackpota.
Hit “Sign Up” and type in your name, email, birthday, and where you live. Make sure to use your real info (you’ll need it if you cash out later).
Most Arizona casino sites will have you confirm your email or phone when you join. If you go to cash out later, they’ll probably want a photo ID and something with your address on it.
Your free welcome bonus usually appears right after registration. It'll include Gold Coins and Sweeps Coins (or other similarly-named virtual coins that work the same way).
Pick a game you enjoy: slots, blackjack, roulette, whatever you’re in the mood for... and start playing. When you’ve got enough Sweeps Coins, trade them in for cash or gift cards.
Arizona’s online gambling rules sit somewhere in the middle. You can bet on sports here, but real-money online casinos are still a no-go. A few nearby states are even stricter, while others have gone a bit further (opening the door to online casinos, internet poker rooms, and more).
Here’s how Arizona stacks up against its neighbors and other nearby states. Click any link below to see the full guide:
While real-money online casinos aren’t yet legal in the Grand Canyon State, there are still plenty of ways to enjoy online gambling in the state.

Gambling is the most fun when you keep it under control. I’ve had times where I sat down to play “for a few minutes” and ended up losing track of the whole afternoon.
What helps a lot is setting limits before you start. Decide how much you’ll spend and how long you’ll play for. Also, always make sure you’re in the right frame of mind.
Here are some more tips along those lines:
On its website, Arizona’s Division of Problem Gambling provides free, confidential help for anyone. Could be you, a friend, or family.
These resources are there 24/7. If you think you (or someone you know) might need some help, don't be afraid to reach out.
Online casino sites aren’t legal in Arizona yet... but that could change a lot sooner than you think.
Arizona’s successful rollout of legal online sports betting proved there’s a pretty big appetite for regulated gambling here. If lawmakers decide to expand, online casinos would likely be the next step.
Across the country, more states are realizing the upside: extra tax revenue, safer and more controlled gaming, and fewer players turning to unregulated sites. It wouldn’t be surprising if Arizona eventually joined them.
And if that happens in the next few years? Players here could get access to many of the same top-tier online casinos already thriving in other states, like:

Is online gambling legal in Arizona?
Online casino gambling isn't. But the following activities are allowed: online sports betting, pari-mutuel wagering on horse racing, and daily fantasy sports.
Can I play online casinos in Arizona?
Yup, just not at online gambling sites with real-money wagering. Social casinos are completely legal, though. And these bring the Las Vegas experience right to your phone by offering popular games (like slots, blackjack, roulette, and more) and real cash prizes through sweepstakes promotions. Some of the best Arizona casinos using this model are Spree, WOW Vegas, and Stake.us.
Is BetMGM Casino legal in Arizona?
Nope. Real-money gambling sites like BetMGM Casino aren't allowed to accept Arizona players. But if you're into sports betting, BetMGM Sportsbook is legal and accessible in the state.
Is DraftKings Casino legal in Arizona?
No again. Online casino gambling sites like DraftKings Casino can't operate in the Grand Canyon State (for now, at least). But DraftKings does offer sports betting in AZ, and it's usually considered to be one of the best sites for that.
Does Bovada work in Arizona?
It does, but I wouldn't recommend it. Offshore sites aren't regulated by the Arizona Department of Gaming... which means they come with a lot of risks. There's no guarantee your personal information is safe, the games are fair, or that winnings will be paid out at all. And this goes for all offshore gambling sites (BetUS, Café Casino, El Royale, BetWhale, Wild Casino, etc.), not just Bovada.
How many land-based casinos does Arizona have?
Arizona has more than two dozen tribal casinos, all owned by the state’s federally recognized Native American tribes. Most of these land-based casinos offer a full lineup of games. I'm talking slot machines, blackjack, roulette, craps, poker, and more. You’ll just need to be at least 21 to get in and play.
