The women’s Alpine skiing super-G at the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milan-Cortina d’Ampezzo has captured attention as one of the most wide open speed events on the Olympic skiing program. Heading into the race, which will take place on the technical and demanding Olimpia delle Tofane course, the entire field is at +200 or longer to grab the gold medal. Before this event begins, you can find my Olympic women's Super G prediction below.
Below are the most current odds available for the women’s super-G at the 2026 Winter Games. Odds may vary between sportsbooks and change as conditions change on the slopes:
The super-G at these Olympics has several intriguing narratives driving interest both from fans and those considering their bets. First and foremost is Italian powerhouse Sofia Goggia. Goggia leads the current World Cup super-G standings and arrives with the benefit of racing on familiar slopes in Cortina. She has multiple World Cup super-G victories recorded on this very course, and her experience in high-pressure situations positions her as a gold medal favorite who is racing on home snow.
Germany’s Emma Aicher is another athlete worth monitoring closely. Aicher has already earned two silver medals at these Olympics in other alpine events, proving she is comfortable with Olympic pressure and capable of delivering speed when it counts. Her recent victory in a World Cup super-G and her consistency in major competitions make her a strong medal threat.
New Zealand’s Alice Robinson comes into this event as a rising contender. Robinson has scored a World Cup super-G victory this season and sits near the top of the sport’s rankings. Her technique and fearless approach have helped her challenge more established stars, and she represents both an underdog and a genuine title contender.
American skier Breezy Johnson also deserves attention. Fresh off an Olympic title in the women’s downhill, Johnson could become the first American woman to win both the downhill and super-G at a single Winter Games. While her odds are longer than some rivals, her downhill success suggests she has the speed and confidence to compete for the podium if her line choice and execution are sharp.
Sofia Goggia (Italy) – Goggia is widely considered the leading contender for the gold medal in this discipline. Her comfort on the Tofane slope and success throughout the World Cup season put her in prime position to perform at her best when it matters most. Her competitive record on this terrain is impressive and should not be underestimated.
Emma Aicher (Germany) – With multiple silver medals at these Games and a recent World Cup victory in super-G, Aicher brings strong form and consistency. Her ability to handle the course under pressure could translate to a podium finish.
Alice Robinson (New Zealand) – Robinson’s World Cup super-G win and second place in the overall standings this season mark her as a genuine threat. While she may lack the experience of some rivals, her speed and technical precision have grown significantly, and she appears ready to contend for a medal.
Federica Brignone (Italy) – Brignone’s veteran status and tactical savvy could pay dividends here. She knows how to manage lines on technical courses, and if conditions change, her experience might give her an edge.
Pick: Sofia Goggia ATS PRO
Confidence: 4 out of 5
Sofia Goggia enters the Olympic super-G as the most consistent and proven competitor in the field this season. Her positioning atop the World Cup standings highlights her aptitude in this discipline, and her ability to handle the pressure of a major championship on home snow adds an intangible advantage that cannot be discounted. Goggia’s record on the Olimpia delle Tofane course is exceptional, and she has repeatedly shown she can convert speed and technical precision into winning results against world-class competition. I'm taking the Italian to get another gold for the host nation.
