The second leg of this UEFA Champions League playoff between Inter Milan and Bodo/Glimt on February 24, 2026 is one of the most intriguing fixtures of the evening. Inter Milan trail by a two-goal margin after a stunning 3-1 defeat in the first leg away in Norway, where underdogs Bodo/Glimt outplayed their illustrious hosts. The deficit sets the stage for a grandstand finish at San Siro, where Inter, Champions League finalists last season, must overturn their disadvantage to keep their dreams of continental success alive.
The atmosphere at San Siro is sure to be electric, and Inter have been formidable at home in the Champions League, having lost only twice at home in this competition since 2022. The Norwegian visitors have shown they are capable of big results, having already dismantled European heavyweights Manchester City earlier in the campaign, making this a must-watch clash for football fans and bettors alike. The odds firmly favor Inter Milan to win the match outright, but Bodo/Glimt’s form and belief give them a genuine chance of extending their fairy-tale run into the last 16.

This second leg tie features Serie A leaders Inter Milan, a club with a rich European pedigree, against Norwegian underdogs Bodo/Glimt. After suffering a 3-1 defeat in the first leg, Inter need a strong response on home turf.
The hosts have been in solid form domestically, winning multiple recent matches, and will look to assert control early by pressing high and being aggressive in the midfield battle, with the possible return of Nicolo Barella being a huge boost to the Nerazzurri. Their attack, led by Marcus Thuram and Pio Esposito in the absence of injured Lautaro Martinez should be active in the press and will look to capitalize on any opportunity that comes their way. Bodo/Glimt, however, arrive with confidence boosted by their impressive victory and their history-making European run that includes wins against Manchester City and Atletico Madrid, showing they can match quality opponents.
Inter’s home advantage cannot be understated here. The San Siro atmosphere often lifts the players, but they must score at least two unanswered goals just to level the aggregate score. Inter have been effective going forward this season, and while they will undoubtedly miss the pace and energy of Martinez, they should have more than enough firepower to overcome a Bodo/Glimt defense that is yet to keep a clean sheet in this season's Champions League.
Defensively, though, vulnerabilities remain, especially against counter attacks. Bodo/Glimt will look to exploit spaces on the break, using pace and movement to create chances. A disciplined defensive performance from the visitors could see them protect their lead, but they cannot sit back entirely or risk Inter running riot in front of their home crowd.
The odds for this fixture reflect Inter Milan as favourites. Market probability data puts Inter at roughly 73-74% to win the match, with draws and Bodo/Glimt victories much less likely in 90 minutes. Odds for an Inter win hover around -280 to -300, while a Bodo/Glimt upset is priced longer, in the region of +800 to +1000, indicating bookmakers view a shock victory for the visitors as a long shot. A draw is also not heavily backed, suggesting many expect the hosts to take control at San Siro.
Betting markets also show options such as both teams to score being favourable, as both sides have been involved in goal-rich games recently. Inter’s last ten matches have seen over 2.5 goals in a majority, and Bodo/Glimt’s recent games have consistently seen high goal counts, making over totals attractive for goalscorers.
Given Inter’s need to score early and Bodo/Glimt’s attacking spirit, markets like both teams to score and over 2.5 goals are particularly interesting. Some predictions even suggest scorelines like 3-1 for Inter or 4-1 in other forecasts reflecting the hosts pressing aggressively, though a clean sheet for either side seems less certain. Handicaps and goal line bets offer value for those anticipating a high-scoring game, especially considering how much Inter will push forward, leaving spaces in behind that Bodo/Glimt could exploit.
Ultimately, the prediction here leans on Inter Milan using their quality and home advantage to win the match outright, but without shutting out their opponents. Bodo/Glimt have shown they can score against elite competition and will have opportunities on the break even while defending a lead. Inter’s need to chase goals means defensive caution may be sacrificed, leading to an open game with chances at both ends. Expect goals from both teams with a strong performance from the hosts that edges them ahead on the night.
Score Projection: Inter Milan 4 – Bodo/Glimt 2
Win Probability: Inter Milan 65%, Bodo/Glimt 20%, Draw 15%
Inter Milan should rise to the occasion, but Bodo/Glimt’s fearlessness and attacking ability make them unlikely to be shut out. While Inter are favorites, the visitors have proven they can score and could even snatch a draw in regular time if their finishing stays sharp. This contest promises drama and goals, making it a compelling match for bettors looking for value beyond a straightforward result.
