Bournemouth and Brentford meet at the Vitality Stadium on Saturday in a matchup the betting market sees as close to a toss-up. Bournemouth have home advantage, but they are still searching for their first Premier League win under Marco Rose, while Brentford arrive unbeaten through their opening three league games.
Rather than trying to separate two closely priced teams on the moneyline, I prefer Brentford Draw No Bet at +102 on FanDuel. It keeps the plus-money upside if Brentford win while returning the stake if another Bournemouth home game ends level.
The market sees a very even matchup
Polymarket currently gives Bournemouth roughly a 39% chance to win, with Brentford around 36% and the draw near 27%. There is very little separating the two sides.
The draw probability makes protection valuable
With the draw priced around 27%, this is a good matchup for a Draw No Bet approach. Bournemouth have also drawn seven of their last eight Premier League home games.
Our angle favors Brentford with the draw removed
Brentford have made the stronger start and have an excellent recent record in this matchup. Rather than taking the bigger moneyline price, +102 on Brentford Draw No Bet gives us plus-money upside with protection if the game finishes level.

Brentford have made the stronger start. Keith Andrews' side opened with a 3-0 win over Tottenham before drawing 1-1 at Leeds and 1-1 with Sunderland, leaving them on five points with five goals scored and only two conceded.
Bournemouth have been more frustrating. They led Manchester City, Everton and Newcastle in each of their opening three Premier League matches but failed to win any of them, collecting only two points. Their 2-2 draw at Newcastle was particularly painful after they led 2-0. Bournemouth became the first Premier League team to score first in each of their opening three games of a season without winning one.
That inability to finish games matters here. Four of Bournemouth's five league goals conceded this season have arrived from the 84th minute onward. Brentford, meanwhile, scored 19 Premier League goals after the 75th minute last season, bettered only by Liverpool.
If this is level heading into the final 20 minutes, I would rather have Brentford on my side.
ATS Expert Verdict

“Brentford Draw No Bet is my preferred angle because it gives us plus-money exposure to the better-starting side while protecting against another draw. Bournemouth have been competitive, but their inability to close games makes the added protection especially valuable here.”
Backing Brentford outright at around +170 is tempting, but there is a reason I'm giving up some of that price.
Bournemouth are unbeaten in their last 11 home matches across all competitions, while seven of their last eight Premier League home games have finished as draws. Brentford have also drawn their last two league matches.
The head-to-head record, however, leans heavily toward the visitors. Brentford are unbeaten against Bournemouth in Premier League meetings since the Cherries returned to the top flight in 2022/23, recording five wins and three draws. Their most recent meeting at the Vitality finished 0-0 in March, although Bournemouth created the better chances that night.
Rose has kept Bournemouth's aggressive pressing identity largely intact. Brentford's official preview describes a side still looking to press high and create chances quickly, but that approach can also produce transition opportunities for a Brentford team comfortable playing directly through Igor Thiago, Kevin Schade and its wide attackers.
There is one important concern for the bet: Nathan Collins' fitness. Brentford confirmed that their captain suffered a calf strain against Sunderland and was forced off after only 17 minutes. Jannik Schuster replaced him and impressed on his Premier League debut, but Collins' potential absence unquestionably weakens the visitors defensively.
The latest U.S. market has Bournemouth around +150, Brentford around +170 and the draw as high as +270. FanDuel's Brentford Draw No Bet price of +102 is the number I prefer.
At +102, the break-even probability is approximately 49.5% when the draw is removed from the calculation.
Polymarket reinforces just how little separates the teams. Traders currently price Bournemouth around 39%, Brentford at 36% and the draw at 27%. Over 2.5 goals is around 60%, while Both Teams to Score Yes trades near 63%.
That 27% draw probability is exactly why I don't feel the need to chase Brentford's bigger moneyline price. The prediction market does not show a huge discrepancy, but the draw protection fits the matchup extremely well.
Bournemouth have played better than their two-point total suggests, so this is not a spot where I want to fade them aggressively. Their pressing can cause Brentford problems, and Collins' injury is a legitimate concern.
But Brentford have been the more efficient side, remain unbeaten, have an excellent recent record in this matchup and are facing a Bournemouth team that has repeatedly failed to turn leads into wins.
With another draw very much in play, taking Brentford with the tie removed is the most attractive way into the market.
