The spotlight is on the Allianz Arena as Bayern Munich host Real Madrid in the second leg of this Champions League quarterfinal. Bayern take a 2-1 lead into the return leg, but this is still wide open, and chances should flow as both sides go at it hammer and tongs to secure their semi-final place.
Best Bet | Both Teams to Score & Over 2.5 Goals (-150) |
Confidence | 4/5 stars |
Top Prop | Kylian Mbappé anytime goalscorer |
Model Projection | Bayern Munich 1.8 – 1.6 Real Madrid |
Win Probability | Bayern Munich 58% | Draw 21% | Real Madrid 21% |
Score Prediction | Bayern Munich 2 – 2 Real Madrid |
This game should be as open as the first leg was. Real Madrid have to chase the tie, and that usually turns these second legs into end-to-end matches. Bayern wasted numerous opportunities to kill the tie off in Madrid, but it is unlikely that they will take their foot off the gas in front of their home fans.
The first leg had chances on both sides and finished 2-1, and there’s no reason to expect this one to slow down. Bayern are always aggressive at home, and Real Madrid are at their best when the game stretches and they can attack space.
With players like Kylian Mbappé and Vinícius Júnior on one side and Harry Kane leading Bayern, both teams have players who can score without needing much time or space.
Put it all together and this projects to land somewhere in the 3+ goal range, which lines up with the market leaning toward the Over.
There are a few simple reasons this bet makes sense:
You could try to pick a winner, but it’s a tough call. The cleaner angle is backing both teams to score in a game that should have chances throughout.
Kylian Mbappé Anytime Goalscorer
He already scored in the first leg and is still the most dangerous player on the pitch. If Madrid get a goal, there’s a good chance he’s involved.
Harry Kane Anytime Goalscorer
Kane has been Bayern’s most reliable scorer all season and gets volume plus penalty duty. At home, he’s always a threat.
Vinícius Júnior +1.5 Shot on Target
Vinícius will see more of the ball with Madrid pushing forward. He’s direct and usually tests the keeper at least once.
This is a straightforward same-game parlay built around the most likely game script. Plenty of goals, immense attacking talent on display on both sides and Europe's two premier strikers going head-to-head.
Moneyline (consensus range):
Bayern Munich (-170 to -185)
Real Madrid (+340 to +375)
Draw (+380 to +410)
Total Goals:
Over 2.5 (-150)
Under 2.5 (+130)
The market is clearly leaning toward goals here, with the Over priced as a solid favorite.

Bayern deserve to be favorites at home, but this is still Real Madrid in a knockout game and you can never count them out, especially given the attacking talent at their disposal.
Instead of forcing a side, the better approach is backing goals. With the way this matchup sets up, both teams finding the net feels like the most reliable outcome.
