The Jets have a 6-3-0 record going into this game. But they have lost two of their last three games coming into this contest. Their most recent game was a 3-2 loss to the Utah Mammoth, which the Jets will try to rebound from. The Wild have struggled, losing six of their last seven games, including a 6-2 defeat to the Mammoth and a 6-5 loss to the San Jose Sharks.
Connor Hellebuyck has been a standout for the Jets, entering tonight with a .928 save percentage. Filip Gustavsson of the Wild has a .897 save percentage, indicating a potential edge for Winnipeg in net.
Mark Scheifele leads the Jets with 13 points (8 goals, 5 assists), while Kyle Connor has contributed a team-high seven assists. Minnesota's Kirill Kaprizov is the top scorer with 14 points (5 goals, 9 assists), but the team has struggled to capitalize on his production by getting offense from elsewhere.
Player | Prop |
|---|---|
Mark Scheifele | Anytime Goal Scorer |
Kirill Kaprizov | Anytime Goal Scorer |
The Jets are far better than the Wild in goal and in terms of their penalty kills. The Jets are killing penalties at a 92.1% rate, while Minnesota is only killing penalties successfully 60.9% of the time. That huge difference should help the Jets to get the win on the road in this game during one of the 16 games on the NHL schedule on Tuesday night.
