Tuesday night’s Atlantic Division showdown between the Florida Panthers and the Toronto Maple Leafs is a huge matchup in the Atlantic Division. The Panthers (22‑16‑3) travel north to Scotiabank Arena to take on a Maple Leafs club (19‑15‑7) that is looking to avoid a second straight loss. Both teams are aiming to get a win that will help their chances in the Eastern Conference playoff race. Before the action begins, continue reading to get my Panthers vs Maple Leafs prediction.

The Panthers have been somewhat up and down entering this meeting, losing two of their last three games. With that said, they upset the Colorado Avalanche in their last game and will try to build on this. Florida’s swings in level of performance suggest inconsistency on both ends of the ice, but they still possess scoring threats and the depth to stay competitive here.
The Maple Leafs just had a two-game winning streak snapped in their last game, losing 4-3 in overtime against the New York Islanders. Toronto’s home success (14-5-5 at Scotiabank Arena) gives them confidence in this divisional bout, even after a tough loss to the Isles.
Florida’s netminding has generally been reliable when Sergei Bobrovsky is available, though recent outings have shown volatility. Opposing offenses have found room to operate against the Panthers, and their defense has been tested. Toronto’s goalie situation has seen Joseph Woll deliver quality starts, including a recent shutout, which has helped keep Toronto competitive even when missing key forwards at times.
On offense, Florida relies on contributors such as Brad Marchand and Sam Reinhart, who have been central to their scoring output and can change the game quickly with timely goals and playmaking. The Leafs are lead by stars such as Auston Matthews, who will need to help them overcome the absence of William Nylander. Toronto’s supporting cast has also chipped in, with scoring from secondary forwards bolstering the Leafs’ attack. The availability and health of top scorers will be important in this game’s outcome.
Player | Prop |

Auston Matthews | Over 0.5 Goals |
Brad Marchand | Over 0.5 Points |
Score Projection: Panthers 2 – Maple Leafs 3
Win Probability: Panthers 50%, Maple Leafs 50%
I think we are going to get an extremely close game between the Leafs and Panthers here. But I'll go with the home team on Tuesday night. The Leafs are 14-5-5 at home on the year and they should drop the Panthers back to the .500 mark on the road.
