The Washington Commanders make the trip to face the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday afternoon in a clash between two teams hoping to claw their way out of losing streaks. With both clubs entering Week 14 with losing records and recent struggles, this game could more or less eliminate the loser from postseason contention. Before kickoff from Minneapolis, you can find my Commanders vs Vikings prediction below.

For Minnesota, the return of J.J. McCarthy brings hope. Though his 2025 season has been rough, he remains the best option available for Minnesota. His performance will be critical, especially after the Vikings saw four interceptions and only 126 passing yards from Max Brosmer in their last outing.
On Washington’s side, Jayden Daniels could be back, offering a much-needed boost to an offense that hasn’t delivered consistently during its losing streak. His dual-threat ability could create mismatches, as Minnesota will have to sacrifice some defenders to pay attention to Daniels instead of skill position players.
Score Projection: Washington Commanders 20 – Minnesota Vikings 17
Win Probability: Commanders 52%, Vikings 48%
I don't have high expectations for the offenses in this game, as both quarterbacks are returning from injury and there is plenty of potential for both sides to be out of rhythm. But I tend to trust the Commanders more in this spot and I'll back them to cover the number as a slight underdog on the road.
