Why Bet The Jaguars vs Seahawks Under:
✅ Seattle has been a disaster offensively with Geno Smith at quarterback since he was forced into action when Russell Wilson got hurt. They have averaged 15 points per game in the two contests that Smith has started, which lends itself well to the under coming in when the Jaguars and Seahawks go at it.
✅ Jacksonville’s offense hasn’t been much better this season, as the Jaguars have scored just 116 points so far this season. Only three teams in the NFL have amassed a lower point total through Week 7, which again bodes well for the total going under here.

✅ The Jaguars have had four of their six games so far this season go under the total, while the Seahawks have had just one game go over the total. Both of these teams have been under machines, and that should remain the case when they get together in the Pacific Northwest on Sunday.
Jacksonville Jaguars
It took a trip to London to get it, but the Jacksonville Jaguars picked up their first win of the 2021 NFL season in their last game when they beat the Miami Dolphins across the pond. Last week, the Jaguars had a bye after their London trip, and will look to build their first win streak of the season with a victory over the Seahawks. Jacksonville thought it would be facing Russell Wilson this week, but will be tasked with stopping Geno Smith instead.
Even with the win over the Dolphins, the Jaguars have yet to break 25 points in a game this season. The Jacksonville offense has yet to prosper with Trevor Lawrence at quarterback, but it is looking better than it did at the start of the season, and the Seahawks will have to play well to slow him down.
Seattle Seahawks
Seattle has lost three straight games, and their playoff hopes are in a precarious position, thanks to the injury to Russell Wilson suffered three games ago. Geno Smith has been unable to deliver a victory in any of this three appearances with the Seahawks so far. And if Seattle wants a win from Smith and the Seahawks this week, they will need more out of the new-look Seattle offense.
The big problem with Seattle when Geno Smith is their quarterback is that they aren’t able to use their receivers as effectively as possible. DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett are not able to simply outrun defenders and catch deep passes, as Smith isn’t as good at locating those balls as Wilson is. But the Seahawks are averaging just 15 points per game with Smith as their starter, and that could cause them to fall to the Jags here.
