The Sacramento Kings (1‑4) head into Saturday’s game as underdogs against the Milwaukee Bucks (4‑1). The Kings are still searching for consistency early in the season, while the Bucks have started strong and are looking to continue their winning ways at home. Before these teams take the floor on Saturday evening, continue reading to get my Kings vs Bucks prediction.
Milwaukee comes in at 4‑1 and has won three straight games at home to begin the season. Sacramento is 1‑4 and yet to prove that it can string together wins away from home. The Kings are dealing with multiple injuries. The team lists Keegan Murray and Malik Monk as unavailable, while Nique Clifford is questionable. Milwaukee's big concern is Giannis Antetokounmpo’s left‑knee soreness. He is listed as questionable after missing his last game.
Milwaukee’s depth and home‑court advantage should give them the edge in this matchup. If Giannis plays at full strength, his ability to dominate on both ends will likely shine through. Sacramento will try to rely on Zach LaVine for scoring, but with missing pieces and a rough start to this season, expecting them to win here feels optimistic.
Player | Prop |
|---|---|
Zach LaVine (Sac) | Under 24.5 points |
Giannis Antetokounmpo (Mil) | Over 32.5 points |
Ryan Rollins (Mil) | Over 14.5 points |
Score Projection: Sacramento Kings 104 – Milwaukee Bucks 117
Win Probability: Sacramento Kings 28%, Milwaukee Bucks 72%
I am expecting the Milwaukee Bucks to roll at home in this contest. The Kings' decision to run with the 2022 Chicago Bulls' nucleus isn't paying off and their struggles should continue on the road here against a Bucks team that has looked like a legitimate contender in the Eastern Conference.
Bettors may want to wait until Giannis Antetokounmpo's status is confirmed before placing any wagers on this game. But without knowing about his status, I think that we will see the Bucks cover the spread. The line could move further in Milwaukee's favor if Giannis plays and there is some upside to playing them now.
