The Minnesota Timberwolves will visit the Charlotte Hornets on Saturday evening. Both teams are 2-3 on the season so far. But injuries on both sides are poised to have an impact on this contest. Before the action begins from Charlotte, continue reading to find my Timberwolves vs Hornets prediction from Spectrum Center.
Player | Prop |
|---|---|
LaMelo Ball (Charlotte) | Over 25.5 points (if he plays) |
Rudy Gobert (Minnesota) | Over 10.5 rebounds |
Miles Bridges (Charlotte) | Over 19.5 points |
Score Projection: Minnesota Timberwolves 112 – Charlotte Hornets 109
Win Probability: Minnesota 61%, Charlotte 39%
This game is a challenge from a handicapping standpoint, as both teams are missing key players that will greatly impact how they play basketball. I'm going to take the points with the Hornets in this contest, as they have a little more upside with LaMelo Ball still having the potential to play in this game. I don't think either side will play all that well offensively, and the under could be worth considering as well. But my top play for this game is for the Hornets to cover the spread.
