The Portland Trail Blazers travel to Salt Lake City on Thursday, February 12, 2026, to face the Utah Jazz in what figures to be a compelling Western Conference duel. Both teams enter this contest with different incentives on the docket and very distinct recent form. The Blazers have been playing confidently in recent weeks and currently sit ahead of the Jazz in the Northwest Division standings. Meanwhile, Utah has shown flashes with new personnel and will look to build momentum in front of the home crowd at the Delta Center. Here, you can find my Trail Blazers vs Jazz prediction for Thursday night.
Pick: Trail Blazers -7.5 ATS PRO
Confidence: 4/5
In their most recent meeting earlier this season, the Trail Blazers dominated the Jazz on their home floor with a lopsided 137-117 victory. That result highlighted Portland’s ability to score in bunches and pressure Utah defensively.
Historically, these division foes have traded wins, but Portland’s superior record and roster stability in early 2026 give them a clear edge. Utah’s home splits have not been strong enough to consistently overcome deficit deficits against teams above .500.
Score Projection: Trail Blazers 125 – Jazz 111 ATS PRO
Win Probability: Trail Blazers 72%, Jazz 28% ATS PRO
The Blazers enter this game as clear favorites in terms of roster talent, recent scoring production, and depth. Utah’s recent big win over Sacramento with 54.7% shooting highlights their potential when everything clicks, but consistency remains an issue for the Jazz. Portland’s offensive firepower and ability to contain opposing scoring will be essential in covering the spread on the road. Considering the odds, recent form, and head-to-head history, backing the Trail Blazers to secure the victory and cover the line is a sound wager in this matchup.
