Phoenix Suns vs Philadelphia 76ers ATS Prediction - 1/20/2026

The Phoenix Suns will face the Philadelphia 76ers on Tuesday night in the second game of a back-to-back for both teams. Both squads got wins on Monday night and will look for a repeat performance in this matchup from Xfinity Mobile Arena in Philly. Here, I break this contest down from all angles and bring you my Suns vs 76ers prediction before the fun begins.
Pick: | Suns ML ATS PRO |
Confidence: | 1/5 |
Philadelphia enters this game having won on Monday night against the Indiana Pacers. The Sixers got 30 points from Joel Embiid in that game, but Embiid is not expected to play on the second leg of a back-to-back against the Suns. That will mean more of the offensive workload on the plate of Tyrese Maxey. Maxey is averaging over 30 points per game and is central to the 76ers’ offensive identity, even more so with Embiid off the floor.
The Suns are contending with their own availability uncertainty here. Phoenix’s star shooting guard Jalen Green has been dealing with a hamstring issue that has kept him out leading into this contest and he could miss this game as well. Devin Booker has battled left ankle soreness and it will be interesting to see what his status looks like in the Suns' second game in as many nights.
While this is the second game of a back-to-back for both teams, don't expect either team to take it easy here. The Sixers enter this game in fifth place in the Eastern Conference, while the Suns are seventh in the West. Each win and loss for these teams will have an impact on whether they end up in the playoffs or the play-in tournament later in the year.
Score Projection: Suns 118 – 76ers 115 ATS PRO
Win Probability: Suns 52%, 76ers 48% ATS PRO
The most important thing I can recommend for this game is for you to keep an eye on the injury report throughout the day leading up to this contest. We could see some key players on this side ruled out due to the back-to-backs for both teams. It is also entirely possible that we end up with Jalen Green making his return to the court for the Suns. For now, I'll go with the Suns to get the win with the knowledge that Embiid isn't likely to play. But things could change wildly as players are ruled out before tip.
