Key Storylines
- The Suns are dealing with some important injury absences going into this contest. Devin Booker is listed as out with an ankle injury, while sharpshooter Grayson Allen is also out with a knee ailment. Jalen Green is questionable for Phoenix, making life even tougher on the home team here.
- Philadelphia is without Paul George, who is serving a drug suspension for the foreseeable future. But the Sixers are expected to have Joel Embiid on the floor for this contest and they have the best scorer on the floor in this contest in Tyrese Maxey.
- Philadelphia’s road form is a real edge at 14-9 away, powered by Maxey’s 28.8 points and 6.9 assists per game. But the Suns are 17-8 at home this year and will try to halt the momentum of the Sixers here.
- For Phoenix, big man Mark Williams has stabilized the glass since arriving, leading the team at 8.1 rebounds per game. He is going to have his hands full in this game, as the Sixers have both Embiid and Andre Drummond available to wreak havoc on the glass on both ends of the floor.

Final Thoughts
The injury situation for the Suns is likely too much for them to overcome, even on their home floor here. We just saw the Suns struggle to create shots late against a Warriors team that has been decimated by injuries. They should have another tough night here against a Sixers team that should have the upper hand in the painted area and from the perimeter with Maxey.
