The Philadelphia 76ers head into Friday night’s game with the New York Knicks trying to make a statement against an Eastern Conference rival. The Knicks have won seven straight games and have been among the top teams in the East this season. They are favored on their home floor at Madison Square Garden. Before tip-off from New York City, you will find my 76ers vs Knicks prediction below.

New York enters this game having won seven straight games and proving difficult to slow down at home. Jalen Brunson has been a consistent scoring force, frequently delivering for the Knicks in clutch moments, including a game-winning trey in their most recent outing against Indiana. That win extended their winning streak and highlighted New York’s ability to find scoring from both stars and bench contributors. The Knicks’ offense has been among the more efficient units in the league this season, and they have shown resilience when games tighten in the fourth quarter.
New York is on the second night of a back-to-back here, and there are some injury questions surrounding their roster going into this matchup. The Knicks were without Karl-Anthony Towns, Josh Hart, and Mitchell Robinson last night. They could return tonight, but that is not a guarantee.
Philadelphia faces its own uncertainty. While Tyrese Maxey remains a primary scoring option, his recent illness has clouded his availability and may impact his performance or minutes. Joel Embiid is also listed as day-to-day with an illness, raising questions about his effectiveness. With multiple players on the 76ers’ injury list, their depth could be tested, particularly against a Knicks squad that has shown depth and balance. The health of Maxey and Embiid will be key leading up to tipoff.
Player | Prop to Watch |
|---|---|
Jalen Brunson | Over 28.5 Points |
Tyrese Maxey | Under 27.5 Points |
Quentin Grimes | Under 2.5 3-Pointers Made |
Score Projection: Knicks 119 – 76ers 106
Win Probability: Knicks 68%, 76ers 32%
The Knicks are on the second game of a back-to-back here, which could make things tougher on them. But I think that the Knicks still have more than enough in the tank to win handily against the Sixers on Friday night. The return of Robinson, Towns, and Hart should help them to get the job done in this matchup, even if some of the team is operating on tired legs here.
