This contest features two of the Western Conference’s strongest offenses, yet Oklahoma City has the advantage because of its defensive efficiency and elite home record. The Thunder allow far fewer points per game than Minnesota while maintaining similar scoring production. That balance often proves decisive in games between contenders.
Minnesota certainly has the firepower to compete, especially if Anthony Edwards catches rhythm early. And while Oklahoma City’s depth and the consistent scoring of Shai Gilgeous-Alexander give the home team a steady edge, I do recommend taking the points with Minnesota in a game that should be decided by two possessions at most.
