Key Storylines
- Minnesota holds a winning record this season and has won three straight games, with Memphis winning two straight.
- The Grizzlies have shown offensive firepower in spurts, notably a high-scoring win over Minnesota in February, but consistency remains a concern.
- The injury reports for these teams could not look more different going into Tuesday night. Memphis is without key players like Santi Aldama, Ja Morant, and Zach Edey, while the Wolves don't have any names on their injury report.
Key Players
Minnesota Timberwolves
- Anthony Edwards – The Wolves’ leading scorer, averaging around 29.5 points per game, and the focal point of Minnesota’s offense. His ability to create shots and attack the basket makes him a constant threat.
- Rudy Gobert – Anchoring the interior, Gobert averages around 11.5 rebounds per game, controlling the glass and protecting the rim. His presence alters opponents’ shots consistently.
- Julius Randle – Provides secondary scoring and playmaking, contributing roughly 5.4 assists per game while posting strong rebounding numbers.
Memphis Grizzlies
- Ty Jerome – Provided a scoring lift in recent meetings, averaging nearly 19.6 points per game in key matchups against Minnesota. His playmaking helps stabilize Memphis’ backcourt.
- Cam Spencer – Spencer has stepped up nicely in the absence of Morant and other key players for the Grizzlies. He leads Memphis in assists with 5.5 per game.

Final Thoughts
Looking at the season histories, recent form, and statistical indicators, the Timberwolves have the edge in this meeting. While Memphis showed it can put up points in its last head-to-head with the Wolves, Minnesota’s balanced offense and stifling defense at key moments give it the advantage in this matchup. I am going to lay the points with the home favorite in this one, as Minnesota should get a win to move into a tie for third place in the Western Conference standings.
