Key Storylines
- The Warriors are without Stephen Curry due to a lingering knee issue, sidelined at least another five games, which leaves a major scoring void. Curry is averaging 27.2 points but will not play against the Clippers. Recent outings without him have been mixed, including a lopsided loss to the Lakers over the weekend.
- Golden State also remains short-handed with Kristaps Porziņģis out due to illness and Jimmy Butler out for the season.
- The Clippers snapped a three-game losing streak with a dominant win over the Pelicans, highlighted by Kawhi Leonard’s 23 points and contributions from role players. LA is pushing to climb in the West standings and will expect leadership from its stars.
- This is the second game of a back-to-back for LA and they will have to overcome that to win here.
Key Players
Golden State Warriors
- Brandin Podziemski – With Curry out, Podziemski has stepped up as a leading offensive option and secondary ball-handler. He has delivered efficient scoring and created opportunities for teammates in recent games.
- Gui Santos – Santos has emerged as a reliable scorer and glue guy, earning a contract extension and showing scoring versatility that the Warriors need in Curry’s absence.
- Moses Moody – Moody provides perimeter shooting and spacing, something the Warriors rely on to keep defenses honest against opponents like the Clippers.
Los Angeles Clippers
- Kawhi Leonard – The centerpiece of LA’s offense and defense, Leonard’s scoring and two-way impact has been critical, especially in clutch situations. He also ranks high in steals per game leaguewide.
- John Collins – Collins suffered an arm injury last night against the Pelicans and he is questionable to compete again here after just dealing with previous injury problems.

Final Thoughts
This game is about a toss-up as far as I'm concerned. The Warriors are a mess at this point from an injury standpoint, but they should be able to overcome that somewhat thanks to the Clippers playing on the second game of a back-to-back. I'll take the Warriors to get the win at home in what should be a close game out West.
