The Golden State Warriors travel to Scotiabank Arena to take on the Toronto Raptors on Sunday. Both clubs enter this contest with the goal of strengthening their positions in the playoff picture as the season approaches the midseason mark. Here, I break down this inter-conference matchup on the court and bring you my Warriors vs Raptors prediction for Sunday afternoon.

The Raptors (18-14) are aiming to snap a five-game skid on their home floor after a recent downturn that has them shooting to regain form in front of their home crowd. Toronto has played their last three games on the road, going 1-2 during that stretch, and they will try to rebound back at Scotiabank Arena today. The Raptors also have some roster concerns with RJ Barrett sidelined for this contest and Jakob Poeltl listed as questionable, potentially impacting their ability to protect the paint. Immanuel Quickley and Brandon Ingram remain focal points of the Raptors’ offense, while Scottie Barnes provides energy on both ends of the floor.
Golden State (16-15) enters this game off a Christmas Day victory that gave them their first three-game winning streak in over a month. Stephen Curry leads the team in scoring and remains one of the premier offensive threats in the league, while Jimmy Butler offers two-way production and veteran leadership. That said, the Warriors have endured trouble on the road with a 6-11 away record, and this midday start represents a challenge as they adjust from West to East time zones. This season, the Warriors have been strong defensively, ranking near the top of the league in points allowed. But their offensive numbers sit slightly below league average.
Player | Prop to Consider |
|---|---|
Stephen Curry | Over 28.5 points |
Brandon Ingram | Over 21.5 points |
Immanuel Quickley | Over 5.5 assists |
Scottie Barnes | Over 8.5 rebounds |
Score Projection: Warriors 115 – Raptors 113
Win Probability: Warriors 59%, Raptors 41%
I think we are in for a very close game between the Warriors and Raptors on Sunday afternoon in Toronto. I lean toward taking the points with the Raptors, who could very well win outright at home given the unusual start time of this game and the Warriors' struggles on the road this year.
