Friday night will include NBA action between the Charlotte Hornets and Orlando Magic in an important game between Southeast Division opponents. Orlando enters this game with a better record and a strong track record at home, while Charlotte has struggled on the road and is already more or less out of playoff contention. Here, I break down this division matchup and give you my Hornets vs Magic prediction.
Pick: | Magic -5.5 |
Confidence: | 3/5 |

Player | Prop |
|---|---|
Paolo Banchero | Over 25.5 Points |
Desmond Bane | Over 21.5 Points |
Miles Bridges | Under 17.5 Points |
Score Projection: Charlotte Hornets 110 – Orlando Magic 119
Win Probability: Charlotte Hornets 31%, Orlando Magic 69%
The Magic should get the better of the Hornets at home on Friday night. While the Hornets do have some dangerous scorers, the defense of the Magic should give them the upper hand in this game. I'll lay the points with Orlando, as they should get the stops that they need down the stretch to win this game by six points or more.
