Updated September 11, 2026
Tommy McMillen and Marwan Rahiki meet in an unbeaten prospect showdown at Noche UFC on Saturday, September 12, 2026, at Desert Diamond Arena in Glendale, Arizona. McMillen enters at 11-0 after producing one of the most unusual striking performances seen in a recent UFC featherweight fight, while Rahiki is 9-0 and has yet to need the judges as a professional. Both men have finished each of their first 2 UFC opponents, so this matchup should provide a much clearer picture of which prospect is ready to move into higher-level featherweight competition.
Why Our Model Sees Value:
“McMillen's recent striking numbers are eye-catching, but his defensive openings matter more against Rahiki than they did against his previous opponents. Rahiki combines finishing power with faster, more compact combinations, creating a matchup where McMillen's willingness to exchange could work against him.”
Rahiki a Live Dog
The 42¢ price on Rahiki appears to place too much weight on McMillen's recent offensive production without fully accounting for the quality of strikes he allows in return. McMillen absorbs 4.96 significant strikes per minute according to current statistics, and the way he creates his own offense regularly leaves him available for counters.
Rahiki's Massive Striking Volume
Rahiki lands 7.75 significant strikes per minute while carrying a 53% striking accuracy rate. More important, 8 of his 9 professional victories have come by KO or TKO. Those numbers come from a limited UFC sample, but they fit what Rahiki has shown visually: he does not require a large number of clean connections to change a fight.

McMillen has quickly made himself difficult to ignore. After earning his UFC opportunity through Dana White's Contender Series with a majority-decision victory over David Mgoyan in September 2025, he stopped Manolo Zecchini in the first round of his UFC debut on April 4, 2026. He followed that performance by stopping Alberto Montes in the third round on July 18.
The Montes fight produced the statistic that has come to define McMillen's rise. He landed 252 significant strikes, setting a three-round UFC record. His 13.54 significant strikes landed per minute is an extreme pace by featherweight standards.
Rahiki's introduction to the UFC has been shorter but equally destructive. He stopped Harry Hardwick after the second round in March and then finished Ollie Schmid at 2:47 of the first round on May 2. Before joining the UFC roster, Rahiki earned his contract by stopping Ananias Mulumba in the second round on the Contender Series. He is now 9-0 as a professional with 8 KO/TKO victories and 1 submission. There is no decision win on his professional record.
McMillen fights with a level of offensive confidence that immediately forces opponents to work. He is 6'0" with a 74-inch reach, giving him significant size for the division, and he is willing to turn that frame into sustained combinations rather than simply staying outside behind a jab.
His statistical background illustrates how unusual his pace has become. He lands 13.54 significant strikes per minute and has connected with roughly 50% of his significant-strike attempts. He has also produced 5 knockouts and 5 submissions across his 11 professional victories, showing that his finishing ability is not limited to one phase.
The concern is what happens on the other side of those exchanges. McMillen absorbs 4.96 significant strikes per minute. He can become loose defensively while attacking, particularly once he senses that an opponent is uncomfortable with his pace. Montes connected often enough to demonstrate that openings exist even during rounds McMillen controls offensively.
Rahiki is a different type of threat from the opponents McMillen has recently faced. His background is rooted in kickboxing, and his offense is generally more compact than McMillen's. Rather than relying on constant activity, Rahiki looks for combinations that carry enough force to alter the fight.
Rahiki lands 7.75 significant strikes per minute with 53% accuracy and averages 2.25 knockdowns. He has also defended 100% of the takedowns attempted against him so far, although the small sample makes that figure less useful as a long-term predictive metric.
His 8 KO/TKO victories in 9 professional fights are more important here. McMillen has never been stopped, but Rahiki is the hardest puncher he has faced in the UFC.
McMillen should have success whenever he can establish the fight at his preferred pace. His 2-inch reach advantage and much higher striking volume can force Rahiki to spend long stretches defending rather than setting his feet. If McMillen builds combinations without becoming reckless, he can bank rounds or force another late stoppage.
Rahiki does not need to match McMillen strike for strike. He needs to make the cleaner connections that matter more. His speed and compact counters should give him opportunities as McMillen closes distance, particularly if McMillen grows comfortable after an active opening round.
The most likely fight is competitive, violent, and decided by relatively small defensive mistakes. McMillen's physical dimensions and extraordinary output justify his favorite status, but a 59% market probability is slightly too high for a fighter whose style gives Rahiki repeated chances to land his best weapon. At 42¢, Rahiki offers the stronger prediction value, with my model putting his true win probability at 47.5%.
