Manon Fiorot and Alexa Grasso meet Saturday, September 12, 2026, at Noche UFC in Glendale, Arizona, in a fight that could reshape the top of the women’s flyweight division. Fiorot enters after a 74-second stoppage of Jasmine Jasudavicius, while former champion Grasso returned to the win column in March with a first-round finish of Maycee Barber. Fiorot’s size, pace, and distance striking have made her one of the division’s hardest fighters to solve, but Grasso remains dangerous because of her boxing accuracy, counters, and opportunistic submission game. Polymarket currently prices Fiorot around 69¢, while Grasso trades around 32¢.
Why Our Model Sees Value:
“Grasso’s name recognition, championship history, and recent knockout create understandable support for her, but Fiorot’s striking volume, defensive numbers, physical size, and ability to control range give her more repeatable paths to winning rounds.”
Projection vs Probability
The 69¢ Polymarket price asks traders to decide whether Fiorot wins this matchup roughly 7 times out of 10. My estimate sits slightly higher at 74%. That is not a massive disagreement with the market, but a 5% edge is enough to justify Fiorot at the current price.
Fiorot Should Control the Fight
Her advantage is based less on finishing ability than on how frequently she can dictate where exchanges occur. Grasso may have the cleaner pocket combinations, yet Fiorot does a better job forcing opponents to fight at her preferred distance. I would remain interested through approximately 71¢. Above that level, too much of the matchup advantage starts getting absorbed into the price.

Fiorot’s latest appearance produced exactly the type of response she needed after falling short against Valentina Shevchenko in her first UFC championship fight. Fiorot stopped Jasmine Jasudavicius with punches just 1:14 into the opening round in October 2025. She landed 16 significant strikes while Jasudavicius managed only 2 before the stoppage. Before the Shevchenko loss, Fiorot had built a lengthy UFC winning run that included victories over Erin Blanchfield, Rose Namajunas, Katlyn Cerminara, Jennifer Maia, and Mayra Bueno Silva.
The Shevchenko fight also deserves to be put into the proper context. Fiorot lost a unanimous decision over 5 rounds, but the striking totals were extremely close, as Shevchenko landed 72 significant strikes to Fiorot’s 71. Fiorot also landed a takedown against one of the division’s strongest all-around fighters. The defeat exposed areas where she could improve, yet it did little to suggest she had suddenly slipped from the division’s upper tier.
Grasso’s recent history is more uneven. She lost the flyweight championship back to Shevchenko by unanimous decision in September 2024, then suffered another unanimous-decision defeat against Natalia Silva in May 2025. Her March 2026 return against Maycee Barber changed the tone quickly. Grasso stopped Barber at 2:42 of Round 1, her first victory since defeating Shevchenko for the championship in 2023. That finish moved her professional record to 17-5-1 and showed that she still carries enough speed and precision to punish defensive mistakes.
Fiorot is at her best when the fight resembles a long-range kickboxing match. She is unusually active for a flyweight who prefers operating from distance, averaging 5.66 significant strikes landed per minute. Her 42% accuracy does not immediately jump off the page, but accuracy alone misses the point of her game. She throws enough volume to keep opponents reacting, uses kicks to manage space, and can pile up successful sequences without spending long periods stationary in the pocket.
Her defense is arguably even more important here. Fiorot has stopped 87% of the takedown attempts made against her and avoids 66% of opponents’ significant strikes. That combination makes it difficult to remove her preferred striking conditions. Grasso can threaten submissions if she gains favorable grappling positions, but getting Fiorot there repeatedly has been a difficult task for almost everyone she has faced.
Grasso is a sharp boxer with quick combinations and excellent instincts when opponents overextend. She averages 4.11 significant strikes landed per minute at 41% accuracy. Her hands work particularly well in mid-range exchanges, where she can slip a shot and answer before her opponent resets.
Her grappling threat gives opponents another problem to consider. Grasso averages 0.6 submission attempts per 15 minutes and famously submitted Shevchenko to become champion. She does not need to dominate an entire fight on the mat for that threat to matter. One poorly defended transition can change everything.
The concern is her 54% takedown defense and 58% significant-strike defense. Against an opponent who can vary punches, kicks, movement, and occasional level changes, those defensive numbers leave Fiorot several ways to create offense.
The most important battle should occur at striking range. Grasso needs to close enough distance to turn Fiorot’s single attacks into combination exchanges that can get messy. Fiorot wants almost the opposite: to touch Grasso from outside, move before the return fire arrives, and make Grasso repeatedly restart her offense.
Fiorot lands 1.55 more significant strikes per minute than Grasso while absorbing slightly fewer. Across 15 minutes, that difference can become meaningful even if individual exchanges look competitive. Fiorot has also shown that she can maintain a high pace for 5 rounds, landing 172 significant strikes in her victory over Erin Blanchfield.
Grasso’s best route is to disrupt that rhythm early. Pressure, body work, and combination punching could force Fiorot backward and reduce the space she needs for kicks. Grasso should also test the clinch whenever Fiorot gets too comfortable moving laterally. If she can make the fight messy rather than technical, the gap becomes much smaller.
