Los Angeles Dodgers vs Minnesota Twins Prediction & Same Game Parlay - 6/24/2026

Updated June 24, 2026
The Los Angeles Dodgers head to Target Field on Wednesday night looking to complete a three-game sweep of the Minnesota Twins after dominating the first two games of the series. Los Angeles enters the finale with the best record in baseball and has outscored Minnesota 14-4 through the first two contests. The Dodgers' combination of elite run production and front-line pitching has made them one of the most profitable teams in baseball, while the Twins continue to battle inconsistency at the plate and on the mound.
Wednesday's pitching matchup heavily favors Los Angeles. Shohei Ohtani is scheduled to start for the Dodgers, carrying a remarkable 7-2 record with a 1.47 ERA and 0.88 WHIP. Minnesota is expected to counter with Joe Ryan, who owns a 5-3 record and a 2.99 ERA.
My projection starts with the pitching matchup. Ohtani has been one of the most dominant starters in baseball, allowing very little hard contact while striking out hitters at an elite rate. Minnesota has struggled against quality right-handed pitching throughout the season, and facing a pitcher with a sub-1.50 ERA presents a difficult assignment for them.
Offensively, the Dodgers remain the standard in MLB. They rank near the top of baseball in batting average, OPS, run production, and overall offensive efficiency. Freddie Freeman continued his outstanding season with another three-hit performance on Tuesday, while the lineup continues to receive production throughout the order. Minnesota has shown occasional power but lacks the consistency necessary to keep pace with elite offenses.
Given the gap between these clubs in overall production, pitching quality, and current form, Los Angeles is the preferred side. The Dodgers should generate several scoring opportunities against Ryan and a Minnesota pitching staff that has struggled to prevent runs throughout much of the season.
Parlay Odds: +365
The foundation of this parlay is Los Angeles winning behind Ohtani. The Dodgers hold major advantages in both starting pitching and lineup production. Ohtani has been one of the premier strikeout pitchers in baseball this season and faces a Twins lineup that has produced below league-average numbers against right-handed pitching.
The over rounds out the ticket. While Ohtani should limit Minnesota's offense, Los Angeles has the ability to contribute most of the scoring themselves against a bullpen that has struggled throughout the series. The Dodgers have scored 14 runs through the first two games and continue to create traffic on the bases.
Freddie Freeman to Hit a Home Run +441
Freeman enters the game swinging one of the hottest bats in the Dodgers lineup. He collected three hits and two RBI on Tuesday. Facing Ryan in a favorable matchup creates value on a power prop at this price.
Category | Dodgers | Twins |
|---|---|---|
Batting Average | .261 | .245 |
OPS | .783 | .731 |
wOBA | .343 | .322 |
wRC+ | 118 | 103 |
Team ERA | 3.42 | 4.83 |
xFIP | 3.76 | 4.59 |
The above statistical comparison highlights why Los Angeles enters this game as a sizable favorite. The Dodgers hold advantages in every major offensive category while also carrying the superior pitching staff. Minnesota has enough talent to remain competitive on most nights, but this particular matchup is difficult given Ohtani's current form and the gap between the two offenses.
With Los Angeles already securing the series and sending its ace to the mound, the Dodgers are in an excellent position to finish the sweep. Their projected edge on the mound, combined with a lineup that continues to produce at an elite level, makes the Dodgers -1.5 the strongest betting option for Wednesday's contest.
