Reds vs Mets Model Projection
- Score Projection: Cincinnati Reds 5 - New York Mets 3
- Win Probability: Cincinnati Reds 58%, New York Mets 42%
Cincinnati enters this matchup in far better form, and the difference at the plate has been noticeable throughout the series. The Reds are producing more hard contact, getting runners on base consistently, and taking advantage of scoring chances. De La Cruz remains the centerpiece of the offense, but the supporting bats around him have also contributed during this stretch. I expect those trends to continue and for the Reds to complete a sweep of the Mets at Citi Field in this contest.
