Diamondbacks vs Mets Model Projection
- Score Projection: Arizona Diamondbacks 3 - New York Mets 5
- Win Probability: Arizona Diamondbacks 42%, New York Mets 58%
While neither starting pitcher inspires complete confidence, my projection leans toward the Mets due to situational factors and current form. Peterson has shown better control and has limited damage by keeping the ball in the park, which is a major advantage against an Arizona lineup that relies heavily on power from players like Carroll. Nelson, on the other hand, has already been prone to giving up home runs and free passes, a dangerous combination against a Mets lineup that is starting to click. I will lay the runline with the Mets in this Thursday afternoon matchup in Queens.
