Utah quarterback Devon Dampier has been solid this season, throwing for 1,927 yards with 19 touchdowns and only five interceptions. In the win over Kansas State, he posted 259 passing yards on 18-of-33 passing. He also added two rushing touchdowns and is an ever-present threat with his legs.
Kansas turns to Jalon Daniels under center. He has thrown for 2,344 yards, 21 touchdowns, and 4 interceptions. Daniels is always capable of playing at a high level. If he can do that here, he could lead the Jayhawks back to a bowl game.
Score Projection: Utah 35 – Kansas 27
Win Probability: Utah 80%, Kansas 20%
Utah should be able to get the win in this game to keep the pressure on the rest of the Big 12 to get the results they need in the race for the championship game. But I'm going to take the points with Kansas at home, as their desperation should lead to a gritty performance even if they fall short.
