The Atlantic 10 Conference showdown between the VCU Rams and the Saint Louis Billikens on Friday carries significant implications for the A-10 regular season race. These are the top two teams in the Atlantic 10 so far this season and the winner of this game will have sole possession of first place in the conference going into the weekend. Before tip-off from St. Louis on Friday night, continue reading to get my VCU vs Saint Louis prediction right here.
Pick: Saint Louis Billikens -7.5 ATS PRO
Confidence: 3/5
This late-season Atlantic 10 game pits two of the conference’s best teams against each other in a battle for positioning and momentum. Saint Louis (24-2, 12-1 A-10) saw its 18-game win streak snapped in an 81-76 loss at Rhode Island on Tuesday night, but the Billikens have otherwise steamrolled most of their competition and are unbeaten at home this season. Their deep rotation and balanced scoring make them one of the toughest outs in the league.
Meanwhile, VCU (21-6, 12-2 A-10) has rattled off 10 consecutive victories, including an 89-75 triumph over George Washington in its latest outing. The Rams’ defense has tightened up, and their offense has shown versatility, making them a real contender to surge into first place with a win here. VCU has won at Saint Louis before in past seasons, but the environment and current form of the Billikens make this an uphill battle for the Rams.

I will lay the points with Saint Louis in this matchup in the A10 on Friday night. The Rams are a very good team, but I think that Saint Louis will rebound from their first conference loss of the season in resounding fashion on their home floor, where they have been unbeatable so far for the year.
