Key Players
- UAlbany Great Danes
- Amir Lindsey – The Great Danes’ leading scorer, averaging 17.4 points per game. Lindsey is the primary shot creator and often carries the scoring burden late in games. His ability to draw fouls and convert at the line makes him central to Albany’s offensive production. He also leads the team in assists.
- Okechukwu Okeke – A steady interior contributor who provides rebounding and rim protection. Okeke’s work on the glass is vital against a physical NJIT frontcourt.
- Isaac Abidde – A versatile forward who adds supplemental scoring and rebounding. When Abidde reaches double figures, Albany’s offense becomes much tougher to stop.
- NJIT Highlanders
- Sebastian Robinson – Averaging 14.3 points per game, Robinson sets the tone offensively. He has delivered in tight conference contests and can attack both off the dribble and from deep.
- Ari Fulton – A perimeter threat who stretches the floor. Fulton’s shooting forces defenders to respect the arc, opening driving lanes for teammates. Fulton also leads the Highlanders with 6.5 rebounds per game.
- Melvyn Ebonkoli – An interior presence who rebounds at a high rate and defends the paint effectively. His physical play inside often dictates the tone for NJIT’s defense.

Final Thoughts
This should be a competitive game, but I am going with NJIT to win and cover the spread on their home floor. The Highlanders have alreeady proven that they can beat the Great Danes this year and they should do it again at home, even if the stats for these teams appear to favor the Great Danes on offense. Those stats are a bit misleading, as the Great Danes destroyed several non-Division I opponents early in the year, and NJIT should prove that those numbers are misleading in this contest.
